Pengfei (Alex) Ji is a diligent and highly motivated scholar. At the present, he works as a research associate at the Southern University of Science and Technology. Pengfei got his Ph.D. degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia in July 2016. His research interests lie at the mechanical/thermal engineering application and development of multiscale numerical algorithms. He focuses on ultrafast laser micro-/nano-manufacturing, heat transfer and energy conversion (ORCID: orcid.org/0000-0001-5390-460X).
